About Bishop P.M. Thipa
Bishop Pangani McNight Thipa is the Senior Pastor and National Overseer of Calvary Family Church (CFC) UK currently resident at CFC UK’s head church situated on Vernon road, in Highbury Vale , Nottingham, in the United Kingdom.
He was ordained in 1996 in Malawi at the CFC headquarters and was sent to head the church and do missionary work in Europe in March 2004 when CFC UK had only the Nottingham church. By God’s grace CFC UK has now established thriving and growing branches in Manchester, Birmingham and Reading as well as home cells in Republic of Ireland , Leicester and Scotland (Edinburgh). He was consecrated as the Bishop for CFC Europe on 31st October, 2016 at the headquarters church in Malawi.
Bishop Thipa is a teacher and expositor of the word of God as well as an author of various Christian literature. To date he has authored 4 books and 5 home cell Bible study pamphlets and a youth and teenager Bible study pamphlet. His books are "God’s other doors" (2001 edition); "But God" (2002 and 2011 editions); "How to overcome pain" (2007 edition) , "His garden of silent whispers" (2011 edition) and "Meditation in the word of God and how to hear the voice of God" (2019 edition). In 2016 he co-authored a book on healing written by his wife.
Bishop Thipa has a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Economics and Mathematical Statistics obtained at Chancellor College, University of Malawi in June 1987. He worked as a management trainee with Commercial Bank of Malawi, Administration and Finance Manager at Malawi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Head of Administration at Malawi National Examination Board and finally as Human Resources and Administration Manager at Manica Malawi Ltd before resigning to accept the call of God and proceed to Bible School in America in the early 2000s.
Bishop Thipa did his Bible school at Faith International Bible Institute in Fort Myers , Florida, USA where he obtained a diploma in biblical studies in Sept 2002 under the headship of Rev Dr David Demola , the founder of Faith Fellowship Outreach Ministries whose headquarters are in New Jersey, USA.
He is currently pioneering a project to purchase the building CFC Nottingham is operating from at the former Northern baths building , on Vernon road.
Bishop Thipa got married to Joyce Thipa (nee Kafulatira) in 1989 and God has blessed them with 2 boys and a girl who are all very involved in the work of the Lord’s vineyard.
