2019 Theme: The New Wine, New Beginnings Generation

Our moto is ‘Youth with a Difference’ and as a young generation we aim to be the difference in our society as ambassadors of Christ. We exist to convey the message of Christ and empower the young generation in a relevant and effective way to win and reclaim souls for the kingdom.

We aim to equip our young generation to declare and demonstrate the purpose, power, and principles of the Kingdom of God. Our meetings comprise of both Spiritual Fellowship and as well as Social Fellowship. We encourage the youth to find a balance for their ministry and their youth hood.

You can do and enjoy all you can as a youth but Maintain/Remain in your spiritual circle. (Eccle 11:9)

BIBLE STUDY
Alongside the Global Theme for the whole church, we also have our own Youth Theme from the beginning of the year. Bible study meetings are then planned around the theme which is delivered by our Bishop.

We meet once a month where we have strong but also relevant bible teachings and share life experiences from the theme.

COMMUNITY IMPACT
As a youth with a difference we recognise that we need to impact our community in a positive way. We visit one of the local nursing home near our church where we sing for the residents and share the word of God with them. We also present gifts to them as our symbol of love and mostly to teach our generation the importance and power of giving.

We visit the care Home twice in a year, the first being in the mid-year and the last one near Christmas holidays.

EVANGELISM
As young people we also understand that winning souls is one of the important things on God’s heart so we have outreach programs where we go out and witness for the kingdom. We have big plans for evangelism in our city to stage our presentations in the middle of Nottingham town centre to share the word of God through Dances, leaflets and preaching.

YOUTH SEMINAR/WORKSHOP
We have Youth Seminars and Workshops which are designed to empower and equip the young generation for real life challenges. These workshops consist of special invited speakers facilitating different topics with references from the bible and personal experiences. Topics like; Education, Finance, Ministry, Relationships, Career ,……. etc.

YOUTH DAY OUT & SPORTS
We also have programs that encourages fellowship among the youths with planned day out trips such as Visiting the beach, Paint balling, Movies, BBQs, Bowling, Amusement Parks and sports.

The sports day consists of games between the youth and Men’s/Women’s ministries and as well as between branches. (Psa 133:1)
